Started career with Indian Air Force in 1986 and subsequently joined central police organization as assistant commandant in border security force. Remained deployed in Nagaland as company commander and conducted various operation against insurgents. Undergone various courses and development programmes conducted by border security force.
Joined Special Protection Group [Prime Minister Security] on deputation as Deputy Chief Intelligence officer / Deputy Commandant. Headed house protection and close protection team for the security of the honourable prime minister and former prime ministers of the country. Exposure of working with various security & intelligence agencies at national and international level. Was responsible for the operation and upkeep of the fleet of the organization for 3 years.
Took Voluntary retirement in 2006 after serving for 20 years and joined Jindal Steel and Power as chief security officer in a steel plant in Orissa.
Worked with Maruti Suzuki India Limited as Head Vigilance & Security at Manesar Plant for 3 years and also headed HR in a plant for 2 years.
Currently Working with Medanta “The Medicity Hospital “as Associate Vice President “Head of the department for Safety, Security, Fire, Vigilance, Liaison, and management of contractual manpower etc.
